Graham Cooke ~ 01 - 'Our True Identity' (07/2013)

I have been watching a lot of this guy graham cooke. i've had things in my heart just jump
here is the thing.
if someone says something and something in your heart cries yes!!!!!! then God is giving you the same. it's as much yours as it was the person you heard it from. the spririt is in you as well!
I just learned this as well,
If you are in Christ then so are your circumstances.all of heaven is attracted to Jesus in you so you are a magnet for majesty! you are a magnet for goodness.
spiritual warfare is not a big deal in heaven.
The biggest part of your warfare is learning to worship.
what if the devil was raised up to serve the purposes of God and nothing has changed. Spiritual warfare is the art of using the desires of the enemy to serve the purposes of the kingdom.
what if you as a citizen of heaven can only be affected by the kingdom of heaven and not the world around you. wouldn't that mean that we are giving life to a mirage? what if you can't be challenged by the enemy but only be challenged by Goodness.
Question: IS God Schizophrenic? If we died with Christ on the cross, what are we being put through Romans 12:2 for?.
When God looks at you, He doesn't see what's wrong with you.Everything that was wrong about you, He put that on Jesus at the cross and killed it.
When God looks at you, He see's what's missing from your experience of him and he's totally committed to being and giving you that experience. so when the holy spirit puts his finger on a part of your life that's not working....he's pointing to the site of your next miracle.
God want's to replace it with something better.
The gospel is about a divine exchange.
you are a new creation nothing like you has ever exhisted on the face of the earth before.

A key to total victory!!!! My latest Musings on the word of God. A few thoughts you should know

Ok, The Lord has recently been showing me that there is an idea that the body of Christ might have overlooked. I am going to talk a little about that.
The idea as I understand it and have heard it referred to!
The Idea: everywhere I set myself to go in my life I am going to take it because the lord promised that everywhere the soul of my foot treads God will give to me.
(Or various variations on the theme!)
The idea being that God will bless your efforts in just about all areas except flagrant sin. We often apply ideas like this to things that we want to do. The idea of getting God to bless our efforts is a very popular idea. We quote faith scriptures like Mark 11:24 and so on when we are believing for God’s blessing.
I’m actually not knocking it. I have done the same thing.
But there is something we need to consider.
Lets look at a few scriptures that regard what I’m referring to…
Deuteronomy 11:24
“Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory.

When it comes to the bible I am real big on punctuation and other stuff. Stuff like verb usage and the way words are used in the context. It’s an amazing idea to get into that stuff. It gives you an entire new look at old scriptures.
Here, in Deut 11:2, We tend to quote: “Everyplace on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours…”
This is real big when churches are building a new building or expanding. I have actually been a part of a prayer walk that we walked around an area that we wanted to see get touched by God and claimed that scripture.
We didn’t know what we were doing.
You see the second half of that verse Deut 11:24 gives a very defined territory that Isreal is going to take.
In genesis 12:1, 5,
Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. …
5. Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan.
6. Abram passed through the land to the place of Shechem, as far as the terebinth tree of Moreh. And the Canaanites were then in the land.
7. Then the LORD appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to the LORD, who had appeared to him.
          - God here promises Abram a land that he will show, (A very specific territory.
Again back in Deut: 11:11, 12, 22, 23
11) “but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven,
12) “a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.
22) “For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do—to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him—
23) “then the LORD will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves.
In-between these verses are the reasons to follow Gods way and keep him close. It is summed up in verse 22 so I mashed it.
The idea of driving out mightier nations than yourself is an awesome promise. But Israel just couldn’t go anywhere and do that. They had a very defined territory.
We today have a very defined territory for this idea.
Mark 16: 15- 18 & 20:  15. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16) “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17) “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18) “they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
& 20) And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
Here we see there is a very defined promise of action and God backing up his word. He gives a very specific area of domain that we are to operate in. he did the same in the garden.
He gave Adam and Eve a very specific area of dominion. Now Adam sold it out of course but, it was still a very specific area of dominion.
It is awesome to realize that in the areas that God has predefined as an area of complete victory we can actually have complete victory.
Oh get this get this get this.
He didn’t say the ministers go out and do this. The ministers are there for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ (Eph 4:2)
All of us are the saints Paul refers to.
We can have absolute certainty based on operating in this area of predefined authority that God will BACK US UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Rather in-depth word study of James !:4

OK,
so This is the first of 3 studies that I hope intrigue you and send you right to the bible for further exploration.

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”  - Jas 1:4
Let’s start with James 1:4
“Let”: This word in the GK is #2192 Echo - to have, (hold) in the hand, in the sense of wearing, to have (hold) possession of the mind (refers to alarm, agitating emotions, etc.), to hold fast keep, to have or comprise or involve, to regard or consider or hold as.
(I presents a new dynamic I think in regards to what is being asked.)
This is copied from Strong’s exactly.
“Patience” GK 5281 Hypomone: steadfastness, constancy, endurance; in the NT the characteristic of a man who is not swerved from his deliberate purpose and his loyalty to faith and piety by even the greatest trials and sufferings; patiently, and steadfastly; a patient, steadfast waiting for; a patient enduring, sustaining, perseverance.
I actually know someone that embodies this words definition.
(So so far we have to put it together: Have a possession of the mind as if you are wearing  a steadfast, constant, endurance That does not swerve from its purpose and loyalty to Christ Jesus.)
The next “have” is the same word as let. Echo. It is also a verb but used slightly differently. Because of its verb rules applied.
This time the verb is Present, active and, imperative.
These rules applied to the verb change it’s connotation ad dynamic significantly. The present being a simple statement of fact, the active being the subject (Patience) is doing the action as dictated by the requestor (God); and the imperative is an action that happens in real time as we go along.
This adds further dynamic to how patience is operating inside of each of us.
“perfect” is GK 5046 teleios: it’s and adjective. brought to its end, finished, wanting nothing necessary to (Have) completeness, perfect, that which is perfect, consummate human integrity and virtue.
Brought to it’s end, finished, wanting nothing further to be completed is the promise in
Philippians 1:6  (NKJV)
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
“Work, that you may be…” are translated exactly for what they are.
“Perfect” (The second perfect) is the same as the first with no changes in usage.
“and Complete” GK: 3648 holokleros, this word is an adjective; complete in all its parts, in no part wanting or unsound, complete, entire, whole; of a body without blemish or defect, whether of a priest or of a victim; free from sin, faultless; complete in all respects, consummate.
The idea is related to Christs promise
Eph 5:24-25: Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.  29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.  32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Free from sin and faultless  relates to Hebrews 10:2
2Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins?
“Lacking nothing” lacking here is a verb GK:3007 leipo: to be destitute of, to lack. The verb quality and rules are present and passive. This verb happens in real time and it the subject receives the action.
“Nothing” Here is the two words. Gk:1722,3367 – En Medeis.  Meaning: In, nobody, no one, nothing.

(So so far we have to put it together:

Having a possession of the mind as if you are wearing  a steadfast, constant, endurance That does not swerve from its purpose and loyalty to Christ Jesus, that it possess upon you it’s completion process working in you that you may be  brought to your eventual reward in the end, finished, wanting nothing necessary to (Have) completeness, perfect, that which is perfect, consummate human integrity and virtue, in no part wanting or unsound, complete, entire, whole; of a body without blemish or defect, whether of a priest or of a victim; free from sin, faultless; complete in all respects, consummate, being destitute of nothing and lacking  from no one, nobody or nothing.
